Our team of executives bring strong leadership skills and experience to Espreon. Read below for a brief profile on each member of the team.
Iain Keddie
Chief Executive Officer & Chief Financial Officer
Over the past 15 years Iain has worked with various public companies either as a senior finance executive or in a professional capacity. He was formerly Chief Financial Officer of Solution 6 and most recently, the Oroton Group. Prior to these roles, he was Acting Chief Financial Officer at Star City and spent 10 years in the accounting profession in the UK and Australia. Iain brings a depth of understanding to the role and adds value in a range of strategically important areas for Espreon. In particular, Iain’s experience with software and services in international markets will support the expansion of Billback overseas, whilst his knowledge of the accounting sector in Australia will assist the growth of Corporate Services.
Brian Parker
Chief Operating Officer
Brian has an extensive background in technology and operations within the retail-banking sector, having spent approximately 20 years with Citibank and five years with ING. Brian was the systems architect who designed and implemented the technology platform and operational processes for ING Direct in Australia, becoming the CIO shortly after launch in 1999. He was also involved in the launch of Citibank’s consumer banking services in Australia in 1985. Brian’s key priority in the near term is the operational efficiency of our property services and information brokerage segments. He will focus on continued process improvement, application and systems development, combined with improving vendor management.
Duncan Ward
General Manager, Property Services Duncan joined Espreon in July 2007. He was previously employed as Operations Director at SmartSalary, a part Macquarie Bank owned and supported BPO which experienced significant (30 times) growth in clients and profitability in his 7 years there. It was awarded the status in BRW as being in the top 50 fastest growing companies in Australia 3 years in a row, as well as the Telstra Hudson Small Business of the year award. Prior to this role, Duncan worked at Telstra Corporation, where his last role was that of Financial Controller which he held for 5 years. Duncan was originally qualified in Accounting, and subsequently obtained an Honours Degree at Law through UTS. He brings a blend of BPO, Legal and Finance experience to Espreon. His favourite sport is AFL.
Russell Scott
General Manager, Corporate Services Prior to joining Espreon, Russell was Executive Director, CFO and COO of eBet Limited, a transactional software and online services provider, where he was responsible for the financial and operational activities of the group. Before then, he was Group General Manager of Greater Union Entertainment Technology, has held financial management positions with Westpac and the Hitachi Group, plus 10 years with Coopers & Lybrand (now PWC) as a Chartered Accountant. Russell has a Bachelor of Business majoring in Accounting, a Master of Commerce majoring in Marketing and Organisational Behaviour, and a Graduate Diploma in Corporate Management. Added to this, he is a Chartered Accountant, a Fellow of the Australian Society of CPA's and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Corporate Managers. Russell's priority is to grow sales, increase customer loyalty and build market-share of Espreon's Corporate Services business.
Andrew Moon
Chief Executive Officer, Billback Andrew has held a number of senior executive roles within the financial services sector, including CEO of Tower Life and head of business banking for Colonial First State. At Colonial Andrew was responsible for doubling the contribution from business banking within 18 months by re-engineering sales and fulfilment processes combined with increasing market share. Andrew’s priority will be to consolidate the operations of Billback across three jurisdictions and capitalise on the intellectual property and market share advantage that the company has in Australia. He is responsible for growing sales, increasing customer loyalty and developing Billback’s presence in the marketplace.
